Circle Time and Explore Group

I am a passionate, professional early educator leading preschool enrichment for children ages 6 months-5 years. I have many years experience caring for and teaching young children as a babysitter, lead teacher, assistant teacher, nanny and mom. I have two young children who ’assist’ me😉  

The Basics:

•Degree in Early Childhood Education

•Certified preschool teacher 

•Taught kiddos aged 1-5 at a center for 4 years

•Many additional years experience nannying/babysitting/mom-ing kids of all ages 

• I have two children- a 2 year old and a 1 year old

•Fully Vaccinated and socially conscious

• Animal lover with 3 cats and 1 dog

• Nature, book, and music lover

I am a firm believer that children have an innate desire and ability to learn, and that this happens best through play and exploration, especially outdoors. It is a child’s nature to be curious, observant, honest, social, and hands-on. My job is to teach by their example and to offer age appropriate exposure and experiences. By spending time with nature and planning activities that actively engage the whole child, I provide opportunities for cognitive, language, social/emotional, and motor development. Curriculum is always open-ended and child-centric, and the best laid plans are always able to be put aside to capitalize on spontaneous teachable moments!
